THE TEAM
This isn’t your average birthday party, it’s a full scale, high fashion takeover at Elwood Bathers, and we are completely obsessed! Karen didn’t just turn fifty, she owned it, okay? The entire space was transformed into an opulent private club that screamed Queen B level confidence and pure, unadulterated icon status. From the second you walked past that grand welcome display, you knew you were entering a realm of next level elegance and wildly creative design, where classic baroque details met graphic modern power moves.
The visual language was an absolute masterpiece of curation, giving us maximalist textures balanced with razor sharp precision. We are talking floor to ceiling custom backdrops featuring intricate blue and white toile patterns that made you want to bow down, framed by powerful, deep cobalt blue branding panels that declared Klub KG Fifty & Iconic to the whole room. And hello, can we talk about those spectacular geometric flamingo sculptures guarding a literal explosion of pastel pink, peach, and lavender flowers? It was sculptural, it was editorial, and it was utterly fabulous, blending organic softness with graphic edge.
They thought of every single detail, creating an immersive, interactive Postcards from Paradise experience that had everyone feeling like absolute royalty. Forget standard guest books, guests were invited to pen their messages on custom designed postcards that were literally an extension of the brand, complete with airmail borders, unique stamps, and the full Klub KG Fifty & Iconic visual seal. They even had a massive, custom built deep cobalt mailbox labeled KG Mailbox just waiting to be filled with love and legendary memories. And did you see the A Dining Renaissance sign pointing the way? Every moment was a curated journey.
Talk about an accessory moment that reigned supreme! When you wanted to cool down, they were serving up these incredible, high quality cobalt blue paper fans that weren’t just functional, they were a full statement piece. Some of these were being custom hand personalised right there on the spot with a chic gold marker by a calligrapher from Kyashi Writes, adding that bespoke, haute couture touch that takes an event from great to iconic. Seeing those fans in the baskets draped in champagne satin just made the whole scene feel wildly elegant and perfectly considered.
The floral artistry was a total masterclass in editorial composition, balancing graphic power and organic beauty. Look at these spectacular centerpieces featuring massive, architectural pink anthurium lilies paired with plush, delicate peach garden roses and dahlias in a ruffled white textured vase. It was a visual conversation between structure and softness, exactly like the branding itself. Even the simpler tables featured singular, impactful anthuriums and roses in architectural vases that let the design truly speak. They paired everything with the toile backdrops and more of those personalized fans to create moments that were total design goals.
Elwood Bathers truly hosted a full design renaissance with this one! Klub KG Karen’s 50th was a wild celebration of bold creativity, flawless branding, and pure iconic energy. Every single element, from the custom mailbox to the hand personalized fans and sculptural flamingos, was meticulously designed to command attention and create legends. This was more than a birthday party, it was a movement in high energy, unapologetically stylish event design that set a whole new standard for fabulous!
